Saturday & Sunday April 6th & 7th; 13th & 14th Spring Whitewater Releases 2013
Come watch worldclass kayakers as they navigate the Tallulah River as it winds through Tallulah Gorge.  Five weekends out of the year, Georgia Power Company releases extra water over the Tallulah Dam to make this spectacular event possible.  The kayakers can be seen going over Oceana Falls from both the North and South Rim Trail at Tallulah Gorge State Park. They can also be seen paddling down the Tallulah River and going over Sweet Sixteen Falls from the overlook porch at Tallulah Point Overlook.  On Saturday, the expanded flow of water over the dam is 500 cubic feet per second and on Sunday it is 700 cfs.  For more information call the State Park at 706-754-7970 or Tallulah Point Overlook at 706-754-4318.
Saturday evening beginning April 6th - November Music on Bluegrass Square
Bring an instrument, your lawn chair and enjoy live pickin'!  Located at the outdoor Tallulah Falls Opry House on Main St. in Tallulah Falls.  Bonfire, marshmellow roasting, and grilled hot dogs provided!  Donations accepted and appreciated!  For more information, call 706-754-6040.

Come enjoy the historic flows of water in Tallulah Gorge as Georgia Power Company releases four times the normal amount of  water over the Tallulah Dam.  The beautiful roaring falls may be seen from the overlooks on the North and South Rim Trails at Tallulah Gorge State Park.  The roaring river winding through Tallulah Gorge can also be easily seen from the overlook porch at Tallulah Point Overlook.  For more information, contact the State Park at 706-754-7970 or Tallulah Point Overlook at 706-754-4318.
