Wails to Trails Join Friends of Tallulah Gorge State Park for their "Wails to Trails" hike along the Shortline Trail and experience a delightfully spooky way to meet some of the colorful characters and events fo the railway's past. A .75 mile walk along the existing bed of the Tallulah Falls Railway culnimating in a hayride back to the start. November Whitewater Releases Watch the kayakers brave the thunderous Falls of Talluah from the North and South Rim Trails and the Overlook Porch at Tallulah Point Overlook! Hike down the north steps on the Hurricane Falls Suspension Bridge to see the increased water flow up close. Access on the south side is restricted to the kayakers. Lighting of the Tallulah Falls Christmas Tree Join the Town of Tallulah Falls as it lights the area's ONLY FLOATING CHRISTMAS TREE. The festivities will begin at 6 pm with a potluck supper at Town Hall on Main St. with the lighting of the tree on Tallulah Lake at 7 pm.
